No degree needed—we're looking for people who are curious about AI, comfortable with numbers, and ready to learn.

- Understanding Business Data (Months 1–2)
- Focus: Data safety, GDPR, AI ethics, and working responsibly with data
- Learners explore real-world case studies, complete data safety and ethics exercises, and build a foundational understanding of secure data practices, governance, and policies.
- Outcome: Learners are trusted to work safely and responsibly with sensitive business data.
- Data Tools & Reporting Fundamentals (Months 3–5)
- Focus: Practical spreadsheet tools and core reporting techniques
- Learners use tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or Airtable to create reports, charts, and dashboards. They build skills in formulas, pivot tables, and data structuring.
- Outcome: Learners produce clean, organised, and visually clear data outputs that support team reporting and decisions.
- AI-Enhanced Analysis & Visualisation (Months 6–9)
- Focus: Using AI to improve analysis, research, and data communication
- Learners use AI tools to support data cleaning, identify trends, automate repetitive tasks, and create visualisations for dashboards and reports.
- Outcome: Learners use AI tools confidently and strategically to enhance their own productivity and insight delivery.
- Business-Specific Strategy & Projects (Months 10–15)
- Focus: Applying skills within Marketing, Operations, or Business Intelligence
- Learners choose a specialist track and work on a final project that delivers actionable insights for a real business problem.
- Outcome: A workplace project that directly benefits the business—showcasing the learner’s applied skills and delivering measurable ROI.
By the end of this apprenticeship, learners will be able to:
✔ Handle data securely and ethically – Understand GDPR, data protection laws, AI ethics, and privacy best practices.
✔ Clean, structure, and prepare data – Confidently format data using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, or Smartsheet for reliable analysis.
✔ Create clear reports and dashboards – Use charts, pivot tables, and visualisation tools to present insights in a business-ready format.
✔ Use AI to support data tasks – Leverage AI tools for trend spotting, research, visualisation, and streamlining repetitive processes.
✔ Work across key business functions – Apply data skills in Marketing (e.g. audience insights), Operations (e.g. efficiency tracking), or Product/BI (e.g. feature performance).
✔ Deliver workplace value – Contribute to live business projects from early in the programme, culminating in a final strategy-led project aligned with team goals.
✔ Communicate data insights clearly – Build confidence in reporting to stakeholders and making data understandable to non-technical colleagues.
✔ Grow with optional certifications – Learners have access to optional additional training and credentials, including AI tools, data platforms, and visualisation software.
The recommended course duration is 24 months but most of our apprentices complete their training in 15 months.
Before you start our team will help you complete a skills gap analysis and a review of core training. This will help us to agree on the correct course length for you and also set up your unique learning plan.
The course consists of the core curriculum above which is delivered mainly in half day remote sessions. On top of this you will also be working to a specific and personal learning plan co created with team members from your employer - this will ensure that you are learning the languages, systems and frameworks that matter to you and your team.
Coaching
You will be appointed a technical coach with real industry experience for information, advice and guidance throughout your apprenticeship journey.
Workshops:
We also run additional specialised workshops in specific skills like API creation and consumption, Agile planning and best practices, JAMStack, Automation, Testing and more are being added as the suggestions come through.
Field Trips
We also run field trips to meetups, camps, conferences and other industry events to help broaden your horizons and extend your professional network.
We believe potential matters more than academic history.
Unlike many providers, we don’t require specific qualifications to start the course. We look for learners who are:
