Think Circle: Building a Community of Women Leaders in North Yorkshire

By Alison Kwan

If someone had told me a few years ago that I’d be in a leadership role today, I’m not sure I would have believed them. My journey into leadership has been, well, a bit accidental. I didn’t have a grand plan to climb the ladder—I’ve learned things on the go and pushed myself to take on new challenges and do my best. I’ve been so fortunate to have some incredible mentors and managers along the way, helping me to find my voice and build my confidence to take on leadership responsibilities.

But despite the support I’ve had, I still struggle with doubt. Imposter syndrome is real, and even when I know it’s misplaced, it’s hard to shake. I’ve often wished for more structured support and guidance—people to turn to who really understand the pressures we face as women in leadership. That’s why I’m so passionate about Think Circle.

What Makes Think Circle Different?

Think Circle is not just another leadership course—it’s about building lasting connections and giving women the confidence to thrive as leaders. We don’t just teach you how to lead; we help you create a network of women you can rely on for advice, feedback, and encouragement—long after the program ends.

Here’s what sets us apart:

  • Peer Circles for Ongoing Support: Leadership can feel isolating when you don’t have trusted colleagues to lean on. With Think Circle, you’ll become part of a support circle—a group of women who face similar challenges and can offer insight, perspective, and solidarity when you need it most.
  • Confidence to Lead Authentically: Through coaching, mentoring, and practical learning, we’ll help you find your unique leadership style, empowering you to lead with confidence and authenticity. It’s not about fitting into a box, but about becoming the leader you want to be.
  • A Holistic Approach: We understand that leadership isn't just about delivering results—it’s about managing relationships, making tough decisions, and navigating challenges, from balancing work and life to bigger systemic issues like pay gaps and overlooked neurodiversity. Think Circle ensures you have the tools and support to handle all aspects of leadership.

For Businesses: Why Invest in Think Circle?

By supporting the women in your team through Think Circle, you’re not just investing in their personal growth—you’re investing in your organisation’s success. Confident, empowered leaders are better decision-makers, drive stronger results, and inspire more engaged, productive teams.

The peer network women build during the program becomes an ongoing resource, meaning they’ll continue to grow and thrive long after the course ends.

Why I Created Think Circle

This course exists because I know firsthand the difference it makes to have support along the way. I’ve been able to bring Think Circle to life thanks to the training and mentorship I’ve received throughout my career—and I want to offer that same opportunity to every woman in North Yorkshire who is ready to step up, lead confidently, and unlock their full potential.

Join Us at Think Circle

If you’ve ever felt like you could do more, achieve more, and break through barriers with the right support, Think Circle is for you. This program is for women who want to connect, learn, and lead in ways that feel authentic—and who are ready to step into their full leadership potential.

Using AI in Your Job Search - A Smart Approach to Success

AI is everywhere in the job search process - and it's not just candidates who are using it. Recruiters, too, rely heavily on AI to screen resumes, filter candidates, and streamline hiring.
