People who have already built automations and hit the edge of what a single workflow can do. Technical or technical-adjacent, comfortable with logic, happy to break things while learning. You might be the person in your business everyone already comes to about AI – this course is where you go.
Going AI native means the specific tool stops being the point. What matters is your knowledge, your processes and your systems – set up so that AI works across them, with or without you at the keyboard. That’s what these eight weeks build towards.
Intermediate or equivalent experience is a genuine prerequisite, not a suggestion. If you haven’t yet built working multi-step automations, AI Intermediate is the right place – you’ll get far more from Advanced with that under your belt.
The insights into generative AI and the practical applications we explored have given us a new perspective on how to leverage technology for growth. The course was not only informative but also highly applicable to our everyday business needs.
The Coders Guild offered clear and practical insights into generative AI, which we’ve started applying in our business. The course was well-structured and relevant to our needs, making the learning process straightforward and effective.
I’d like to say that my apprenticeship experience with The Coders Guild and Dedalus has been outstanding so far. The support, structured learning, and opportunities for growth have exceeded my expectations.
Eight weekly sessions, delivered remotely in small groups with an expert instructor. The week between sessions is deliberate: you go away, build, and bring back what happened. From session two, each session opens with group coaching on how your takeaway task went.
The eight sessions: advanced automation with AI agents; agents, loops and orchestration; knowledge systems as AI context; building with Claude Code, parts one and two; building robust, testable automations; evaluating and supervising agentic AI; and a final build showcase with your 90-day plan.
This course was built by the team that led the R&D with Skills England to create the UK’s Level 4 AI and Automation Apprenticeship. The agents, orchestrations and Claude Code builds we teach are the kind we run our own business on – including systems that would have needed a team we couldn’t afford to hire.
Eight sessions rather than six because building with Claude Code isn’t one session if you’re building something real, and neither is orchestration done properly.
By the end of the course, you’ll have AI systems doing real work without you – and the oversight in place to trust them.
What an agent actually is, where autonomy is appropriate, and what the eight weeks will produce.
Scheduled and triggered agents, multi-step chains, handing work between agents, and orchestration in n8n. Where loops help and where they run away.
Structuring knowledge so AI can use it – retrieval, structured notes and skills. The thing that quietly makes everything else work better.
Orientation and first real build. Working in a repo, planning work, and iterating with the model rather than dictating to it.
Extending the build. Testing, refactoring, connecting to real data and shipping something other people can use.
Making it survive contact with reality. Testing methodology, failure modes, fallbacks and documentation.
Human oversight of systems that act on their own. Evaluation approaches, bias and error sources, and knowing when to pull the plug.
Present what you built, get peer feedback, and leave with a realistic 90-day plan for what happens next in your business.
Booking for yourself? Eight sessions, £1,785 + VAT. The first cohort starts in November – book now and we’ll confirm your dates and joining details.
Putting people through at this level? You can book up to 12 places directly with the Book Now button, but a conversation first is worth it here more than anywhere – Advanced has a real prerequisite, and sending someone before they’re ready wastes the ticket. We’ll help you work out who’s ready now, who needs Intermediate first, and whether a closed course fits better.
