Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship

Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship

Build confident, data-driven marketers who design, execute and optimise campaigns across digital and traditional channels
Develop marketing professionals ready to drive business success through strategic multi-channel campaigns. This 18-month apprenticeship builds practical skills in content creation, analytics, CRM platforms and emerging technologies – delivering measurable ROI and strengthening your brand identity from day one.

The Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship is a government-funded programme β€” covered by the Growth and Skills Levy for most employers β€” that builds confident, workplace-ready marketers who can plan, execute and evaluate campaigns across digital and traditional platforms. Learners gain hands-on experience with modern marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content creation. AI tools are embedded throughout the programme β€” not saved for the end β€” because that’s how marketing teams are actually working now.

For employers: Build in-house marketing capability that delivers from month one. Your apprentice will be running real campaigns, working with your actual platforms, and using AI tools to work faster and more effectively across content, analytics, and campaign management. The Coders Guild led the R&D that created the UK’s first Level 4 AI and Automation apprenticeship standard with Skills England and the Alan Turing Institute β€” AI is woven through how we teach, not treated as an add-on.

For learners: Master multi-channel marketing techniques from fundamentals through to advanced campaign management. Gain practical skills with CRM, analytics, and content creation platforms. Learn to use AI tools as part of your everyday marketing workflow. Build leadership and stakeholder management capabilities across an 18-month programme structured around real work.

How does the funding work?
The Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship is funded through the Growth and Skills Levy. If your organisation pays the levy (wage bill over Β£3 million), training comes directly from your levy pot at no additional cost. If you’re an SME with a wage bill under Β£3 million, the government covers 95% of training costs β€” you contribute 5%. We handle all the compliance and admin and guide you through the process from start to finish.
Yes. Every apprenticeship is built around the apprentice’s real job. We collaborate with you to shape project work and tasks that directly support your team’s priorities, goals, and marketing platforms.
We’re platform-agnostic and industry-led. We teach the principles, methods and skills that matter β€” and adapt them to the tools and platforms your team uses. Whether it’s HubSpot or Mailchimp, Google Analytics or Adobe Creative Suite, we meet you where you are. That includes the AI tools your team is already using or considering β€” we help apprentices use them effectively and responsibly, not just experimentally.
From onboarding to endpoint assessment, you’ll have access to our support team, marketing coaches, and account managers. We handle compliance and reporting, keep you in the loop on progress, and are always here if anything’s not working.
Definitely. Apprenticeships are ideal for upskilling or reskilling current employees. It’s a practical way to retain talent, deepen expertise, and build internal marketing capability in a cost-effective way.
You’ll see the impact in-role. Apprentices bring their learning straight into the day job through campaign work and projects. We also check in with managers, gather regular feedback, and provide reporting so you can see development over time.
Your apprentice learns to plan data-driven campaigns, analyse performance metrics, optimise spend allocation, and communicate results clearly to stakeholders – directly improving marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
Junior marketers or coordinators, content creators moving into broader marketing, admin staff transitioning into marketing roles, or anyone with creativity and communication skills who wants to build professional marketing capability.

Do I need marketing experience already?
Not necessarily. Some apprentices are building on existing experience, others are starting fresh. If your job fits the apprenticeship and you’re ready to learn, we’ll support you from wherever you’re starting.
Yes. Our training adapts to your workplace. We focus on marketing principles that apply across platforms, and we’ll work with your employer to match your learning tasks to the systems and tools you use day-to-day.
You’ll spend 6 hours a week on off-the-job learning – things like workshops, mentoring, campaign projects, and self-study. It all fits around your work schedule, and we help you manage it in a sustainable way.
You’ll have access to tutors, marketing coaches, and peer groups throughout the apprenticeship. We’re here to answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate your wins. Plus, you’ll check in regularly with your line manager.
Nope. This is workplace-first, challenge-based learning. You won’t be stuck in lectures. You’ll learn by doing, creating real campaigns, working with peers, and applying everything in context.
You’ll complete an end-point assessment including portfolio review and capstone project presentation. If you pass, you gain a nationally recognised qualification. Most apprentices continue in their role, take on more responsibility, or move up into more senior positions.
Yes. This is a full-time employed role with a salary. You earn while you learn and build real marketing campaigns from day one.
18 months, structured in three phases: Foundations (months 1-6), Intermediate Application (months 7-12), and Advanced Practice (months 13-18).
